This bench is just waiting for visitors who like to rest for a picnic with a beautiful view on the lake of Kochel. It was too cold that day in March 2016, but the view was very nice on the Bavarian pre-alp landscape.

I had once a bath in the ice cold Kochelsee while people were waiting outside in their winter cloth. A Great Lake having great benches around.

Sorry, but I have to put your memory back on track. First, it was not the Kochelsee but the Walchensee, which is actually not far away. Second, it was summer time and I can not recall people in winter cloths outside. True is that we were swimming in the Walchensee and that the lake was pretty cold. All over the year. And indeed it was a great event.

Sorry, as the lake was so cold and we were the only one swimming in it, I had the impression of winter time.
Next time I will Google the map to assure I am talking about the correct location of my actions.
