Surfers’ Paradise at Easkey Bay

Few things are special about this bench:

1: it is carved out of 1 huge tree

2: Front view: Really spectacular cliffs in the far distance!

3: View from the bench: Don’t be mistaken – this place is really famous in the wind surfer community and known as “Surfers’ Paradise”: Unfortunately it was low tide and therefore no surfers around at Easkey Bay

4: There is a little poem from the unknown donator:

“Out beyond this sea a place there must be/ A land for our souls to get rest be happy and free”

In loving memory of/ Tomas “Messy” Jordan

… sounds like a love story without happy end ?? Just imagine yourself what might have happened to this surfer ?

Another absolute highlight from Karo’s Ireland trip. Extraordinary bench, fantastic scenery, nice story with the poem. Just WOW. Clear vote from my side for the top ten. Guess we need to catch up, otherwise all top tens are set by Karo 😉

Yes you are Right. Her benches are quite different. I have to open my eyes to find a competitive bench. May be in November, when I am going to China. Zhangjiajie.
