By now you may know. You must have guessed even, that I must have been quite impressed by Munich’s benches.
Yes I was.
There is hardly any bench in Munich, which could not seat a German ass and weight like mine.
It’s a pitty, that I could not hang around more on some of the benches which I came across.
The bench below is one of them. Somehow it made me wanting to sit down on it. But I had no time to enjoy the sleek bench and quaint museum environment.
My views didn’t reach very far, as the trees of the adjacent English Garden blocked my view and on TOP of that it was cold and raining.
By the way, why would I take a seat on those futuristic benches, if there is such a wonderful wooden one around, which gives you the feeling of sitting on the right place.
Can you spot the Chinese pots high up at the columns. This is obviously the result of a creative act of a famous Chinese artist. May it be, it seems it needs more than my rigid brain to see the point and connection between Munich and Cina.
But stop, maybe it is the logical progress of the Chinese tower in the middle of the English Garden.
On my next visit to Munich I will bring a book and sit on this bench, the thought alone is already mouthwatering.
