Akropolis

In March Karo was in Athens and as a professional bencher she was of course hunting for benches. And where else would you do that than on the world famous Akropolis.

However, there was a bit of a challenge. Since time has done its part on the scenery, and focus of restoration is obviously on the buildings it was difficult to find benches.

Nevertheless, a good bencher never gives up and Karo found this reconstructed bench made of white marble on the damaged historic ground. A harsh contrast but that’s how this bench must have looked like in the ancient times.

And there were too other ones, somewhere outside in a corner of the Akropolis. They do not seem to be yet in the perfect reconstruction state but good for a rest in this historic surrounding.
