Cathedral and benches

When we stayed in Palma de Mallorca the walk from our hotel to the old town passed by the cathedral. A very impressive building overarching the old town and very well visible from the sea side.

Just a couple of meters outside of our hotel we crossed the first benches on a place with palm trees and a nice view on the cathedral. Even though all the surrounding was more historic, the place and the benches were pretty modern and made of stone. In the case of these benches for sure the view is making this benches good benches rather than the comfort.

When walking further towards the old town you walk along the old town walls. Within that wall there were several of these places. Two-seater stone benches, opposite of each other. Turning on one side you could look at the Mediterranean Sea on the other side the were looking towards the old town and the cathedral.

That looks better than what I thought about Palma de Mallorca. Seems to be worth a visit.
    It doesn’t look like Ballermann.

Good pictures as well. Thank you for your contribution.

Definitely worth a visit. Palma itself, but also if you visit country side. Further post will follow. And if you stay away from the ballermann you do not notice anything of that bad reputation (at least not at this point in time of the year).
