A walk in the park on a sunny Sunday afternoon. We were taking the tour from St. Emmerams Mill to Schwabing crossing the northern part of the English Garden in Munich. Beautiful weather, sunshine, 28 C.
When we wanted to enjoy a bit the park life and rest on a bench we picked one accidently. Well, as it was hot and sunny we have chosen one in the shadow. The ones who know the English Garden know that there are numerous benches around and that the northern part is not that crowded, hence you have multiple choices which bench to take. So, it was really accidently that we picked that bench.
In a way a standard one. As said you can find numerous of those. Usually I would not post them here since there are so many of the same.
However, when coming closer we realized that it was a dedicated bench. And the dedication remembered us on our good friend from our hometown. The Schlappeflicker and Häringsbändiger Don Helmut. And that’s why this bench made it to the blog.
